COVID-19 FAQs – Goodlettsville, TN
Our Fight Against Coronavirus
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of everyday life for people around the globe. Its impact has even had a profound impact on the dental profession. While we are proud to continue to serve you and look after your dental health needs, we have made some significant policy changes in order to reduce the risk that our patients and/or staff members will contract the coronavirus. On this page, you will discover answers to common questions about how we are responding to COVID-19.
What Protective Measures Are You Implementing?
We have always been serious about maintaining a clean office environment. Now, we are more diligent about it than ever. We are implementing recommendations from the CDC, American Dental Association, and other professional organizations on how to prevent the spread of contagions. For example, we are disinfecting and cleaning all frequently touched surfaces as often as possible.
Our team members are wearing extra personal protective equipment (PPE), and we have increased our use of plastic barriers throughout our office. We also have high-efficiency ventilation and suction to reduce the spread of airborne particulates. All individuals who come into our office are required to undergo an infrared temperature check.
Do I Have to Wear a Mask in the Office?
In accord with recommendations from the CDC, we are requiring all of our patients and visitors to wear a face covering while they are in our office. This applies at all times, except when you are being treated in the operatory by your dentist in Goodlettsville. A disposable mask, N95 mask, homemade cloth mask, or bandanna are all acceptable face coverings.
When Can I Get an Appointment?
We deeply value our patients, and we want all of them to receive care in a timely manner. However, we are limiting the number of patients who can be in our office at the same time. We are also spacing out appointments so we have more time clean our office between visits. Additionally, please bear in mind that we are trying to catch up on treatments that were delayed when our office was closed. We kindly ask that you exercise patience with our team as we work to schedule appointments in a way that keeps everyone as healthy and safe as possible.
Can Someone Come with Me to My Appointment?
In order to uphold social distancing protocols, we ask that you not bring anyone to your appointment with you unless it is truly necessary. For example, you may need someone available to be your driver if you will be sedated during your procedure.
Are You Performing All Types of Treatment at This Time?
We want to care for all the dental needs of our dear patients. While we encourage social distancing, we know that some treatments, including those performed by an emergency dentist in Goodlettsville, cannot wait. We are also able to care for less urgent cases at this time. When you call to book your visit, tell us what you need, and we will schedule your appointment accordingly.
